The Traga Nexus Gold Lifecycle
Every gram of gold we export is traceable through four professionally documented stages.
1. Mining
Gold is extracted by licensed artisanal and small-scale miners across the DRC, Kenya and Tanzania using traditional and semi-mechanised methods.
2. Refining
Raw gold is processed to remove impurities — copper, silver and base metals — significantly raising purity for export grade.
3. Assaying
Independent laboratories perform fire assay and XRF testing to certify the fineness and composition of every consignment.
4. Smelting
Verified gold is melted, cast into dore bars, stamped with unique serial markings and prepared for secure shipment.
